These flash pieces are directly inspired by manga panels from the incredible Gengoroh Tagame; an artist whose work is not only visually powerful but culturally important. His bold, erotic storytelling has deeply influenced me and pushed me to explore more with intimacy, sensuality, and vulnerability in my own art. I’m hoping to lean more into tattooing erotic work, and this is just the beginning.

I’m still figuring out a fair pricing system for pieces like this, but they’re based on my hourly rate of $175 and an honest estimate of how long I think each one will take. The sizes shown are the smallest I’m comfortable doing them, and I think they’d look especially great on the thighs or legs. I really appreciate the support and understanding as I keep growing in this direction.

I also want to acknowledge that while these designs are directly inspired by Tagame’s work and I do not claim ownership over his art. Tattooing from manga, anime, and pop art references often exists in a bit of a gray area within the world of tattooing and I’m still navigating my own boundaries and comfort level with adapting work by other artists for tattooing. My intention is always to approach this kind of art with respect, transparency, and a genuine appreciation for the source.
